Here’s how this highly sensitive person is handling recent stressful times…(also I just learned how to curl my hair with socks 😆)

    1. Spending less time on screens and more time on creativity

    2. Decreasing social media usage significantly

    3. Making a conscious effort to prioritize time in nature…even though it’s cold af

    4. Batch cooking nourishing meals optimizing time without compromising on eating well

    5. Incorporating kundalini yoga or breath work sessions several times a week

    6. Taking hot epsom salt baths a few times a week

    7. Prioritizing vitamins D, magnesium, fish oils, ashwagandha, and my multi

    8. Utilizing oat straw, motherwort, lemon balm, and holy basil  selectively during times of heightened stress

    9. Prioritizing playtime. For me it’s jiu jitsu…it’s my adult recess with friends…find whatever playtime works for you

    10. Carving out a few minutes of meditation or just unscheduled quiet time

    11. Opting for inspiring audio books while limiting content that triggers the nervous system

    12. Taking meaningful actions in response to world events, avoiding excessive exposure to negative information

    13. Expanding knowledge by watching mind-enriching documentaries and learning new things

    14. Getting dressed up with no place to go (where my Leo placements at)

    15. Focusing on all the tiny magic moments to be grateful…like snuggling with my kitties and my babe

    16. Knowing that this too shall pass and that we are all expressions of a mysterious life force that loves us

Just a few ideas in case you too are going through stressful times that are out of your control.
